I'm just writing this to thank you for teaching me CPR and first aid. Do you remember the last thing that we learned while I was in Toronto? It was about heat realated injuries such as heat exhaustion. Well, about 3 weeks into my summer job as a counselor for 20 3 year olds my senior counselor passed out outside. Everyone was freaking but I remembered about the heat exhaustion and carried her inside, gave her a drink, put ice packs on her head and neck and put her sitting up against a wall. Thank god she was alright after. She was suffering from a mixture of heat exhaustion, dehydration and an infection. But If I hadn?t been there, and if I hadn?t gone to your class, G-d only knows what could have happened. So I?d like to thank you.

I am a rescue boat operator with the Canadian Coast Guard in Nova Scotia. I took Professional Rescuer CPR with Advanced Rescue Consulting in May 2005. It has proved invaluable as we provide life-saving Search and Rescue and medical evacuation services. The instruction was consice, relevant, hands-on, and the instructor was most accomodating with my tight schedule -even providing a private course with one day's notice. I have taken many courses in first aid and the commitment to excellent at ARC was evident. The audio visual material and demonstration equipment were first class, surpassed only by the instructor's dedication to teaching. Without a doubt, ARC has left with the best impression, and the highest quality training I've received from a first aid provider.
